Welcome to a new series on Managing Madrid: Highlight packages and player comps! As we delve into more and more video content, we’ll also be keeping it in mind to make player comps after games — both Real Madrid at the club level as well as its players on international duty. We’ll also do historical videos, as well as compilations over longer sample sizes. We hope you enjoy.

Arda Güler earned a start in Real Madrid’s 4 – 1 win over Espanyol on Saturday night, and immediately rewarded Carlo Ancelotti with a solid performance.

Playing as a right-winger, Güler was responsible for creating danger on the flank by taking players on and putting in defense-splitting passes in the box. On the night, the Turkish wonder-kid had, in his 54 minutes on the field, four key passes, two shots, two completed dribbles, and worked very hard defensively.

We’ve compiled some of Güler’s touches vs Espanyol below.
