It’s Matchday!
It’s the final game before this month international break. It’s at home, against Osasuna, but it has a early start, 2PM CET. We are needing this victory to put a halt in the crisis, but Real Madrid usually don’t do very well in games with early start.
❗️Carlo Ancelotti had a meeting with the players on Thursday morning. They locked themselves in a room and spoke about how to change things. The meeting was very tense, and everyone agreed to commit more. After the meeting, training on Thursday was very different.

During press-conference, Carlo said one more time that for him the problem is on defense. He said the most important thing defensively is to stay compact, regardless if the team press high or stays in a low-block.
New experiments?
It’s been reported that Militao was tried in the right-back in the past few weeks during training sessions, but it did not work as expected.
For the nightmare of many MM users, to cover Tchoaumeni’s absense, Carlo tried Mendy (!!!!!) in the midfield this week. I have to ask: is this not to start Camavinga?!
Also, many were willing to see Fortea with the first team, but the plan for this weekend is for him to play with Real Madrid C on Sunday. He was excluded from Ancelotti’s list.
In contrast, Real Madrid C physical trainer Rubén Cipriano was promoted to Carlo’s coaching staff.
