The French star was gaining confidence and momentum with his recent performances but he will now require to miss some crucial matches for the club.

There were rumors suggesting that coach Carlo Ancelotti was going to rest Mbappe during Tuesday’s match against Alaves but the French star ultimately featured in the starting lineup.
