Mbappe likely to miss France’s next game against Netherlands -report

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe will likely miss France’s next game in the UEFA Euro after suffering a nasal fracture during last night’s match against Austria, according to a report from ESPN. France will take on Netherlands next Friday in the second game of the Group Stage.

Mbappe will have to wear a protective mask for the next few weeks when he’s on the field, but it looks like he will also have to miss France’s next game. Considering that the match against Netherlands could decide the winner of Group D, Mbappe will surely try his best to be available, but coach Deschamps will likely play it safe, per that same report from ESPN.

Mbappe is hoping to lead France to glory in this Euro, which will be his first tournament since completing his signing for Real Madrid. His availability for the rest of the Euro is not in jeopardy.
