Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent), Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.26 per cent) and Laurus Labs Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.
J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Ajanta Pharma Ltd.(down 1.53 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.46 per cent at 21443.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 28.95 points at 23697.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 7.55 points at 78009.64.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Zomato, Reliance Power, YES Bank and NCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Shaily Engg Plastics, TCPL Packaging and Mahamaya Steel hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Kesoram Inds., Nxtdigital, Shrem InvIT, Cybermate Info and Compuage Infocom hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
