Hudco Q2 Results: Net profit jumps 52% YoY to Rs 689 crore

State-owned Hudco reported 52% growth in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2024 to Rs 689 crore against Rs 452 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from operations in the reporting period increased 35% year-on-year to Rs 2,518 crore, compared with Rs 1,865 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

On a sequential basis, Hudco’s profit jumped 23% from Rs 558 crore posted in the preceding June quarter. Revenues, meanwhile, rose 15% quarter-on-quarter.

The net interest income (NII) for the reporting quarter increased 27% year-on-year to Rs 797 crore. The same stood at Rs 627 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The dividend income during the second quarter was up marginally to Rs 7.28 crore against Rs 5.66 crore in the last -year quarter. The company didn’t report any dividend income in the June quarter.


Total expenses rose nearly 20% year-on-year to Rs 1,526 crore in the quarter under review, while the same was at Rs 1,274 crore in the last year quarter.
