Clueless Real Madrid Drop Points again

Carlo Ancelotti has put himself front and center as the one responsible for the sluggish start this season. Real Madrid are unbeaten in 35 La Liga matches and yet crisis looms. The 4 dropped points on their own would be cause for concern but given the state of the squad and the quality of play, we’re headed for a crisis.

Is Carlo overreacting after only three games or is he acknowledging that he’s been seeing the same things we’ve been watching?

Vinicius is distracted

I’ve scarcely seen Vinicius go through two games playing so poorly. He is not focused on his football and it shows. Unfortunately he is not alone in this. His fellow teammates think they’ve automatically won major silverware this season and are playing like the opposition is there to handover points to them.

Wishful thinking

The negation of reality when considering possible outcomes.

The evidence tells us that not only is everything not fine but we’re heading in the wrong direction.

The Best Outcome

Paul was young enough to earn a big contract at Real Madrid. The fact that he didn’t feel the need to do that explains the rest of his career. It’s not as if Real Madrid we’re offering him peanuts. Fortunately he made the right choice becuase it would have been a waste of money for Real Madrid.

Mbappe is 0 in 3 for G/A

Ud Las Palmas V Real Madrid - Laliga Ea Sports

Kylian Mbappe will score goals. He know how to score goals. However, he will have to adapt his game or the te must be built completely around him. In the latter circumstance, that would mean accommodating him at the expense of the other forwards. Do you try him at LW and if he improves, keep him there? Then what happens to Vini?
