Ancelotti confirms Courtois is on track to face Arsenal

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is expected to return in time for their highly anticipated Champions League quarter-final clash against Arsenal. The Belgian shot-stopper, who picked up a minor injury during the recent FIFA international break, has been sidelined for the past two matches and will also miss the upcoming La Liga fixture against Valencia.

Despite initial concerns over his availability, Ancelotti reassured fans that Courtois is progressing well in his recovery. “Courtois is feeling much better, we believe he will be ready for Tuesday,” Ancelotti stated in Friday’s press conference.

Courtois’ return would be a major boost for Los Blancos, who rely heavily on his shot-stopping abilities, particularly given how poorly the team has performed defensively so far this season. Arsenal are an offensive-minded team, so Courtois could be needed to maximize the team’s chances of earning a ticket to the Semifinals.
