Amazon Spring Sale cuts Fire TV Sticks to under £10 with deal stack

Amazon’s Spring Deal Days is in full swing, with shoppers able to bag discounts on thousands of items until March 31. There’s savings to be had on a range of TV and tech, including the ever-popular Fire TV Stick HD. Amazon’s flagship streaming device would usually set you back £24.99 in the spring sale, which is already a £15 discount on the original price. But there’s a way to get it even cheaper by stacking deals with TopCashback. Throughout the Amazon sale, shoppers can sign-up for a free TopCashback account to bag a £15 sign-up bonus plus 2.5% cashback on select Amazon gadgets. This will reduce the discounted tech even further until 11.59pm on Monday, March 31.

With this deal stack, new TopCashback members can get the Fire TV Stick HD for £9.47 after cashback, while existing members can get it for £24.47. Amazon has also reduced the other Fire TV Stick models, including the Fire TV Stick 4K (£34.99) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (£44.99). It comes as Sky has launched a new-and-improved version of its Sky Glass TV, the smart TV with Sky channels and streaming apps built in. The Sky Glass Gen 2 works over WiFi without the need for a Sky box or satellite dish, with prices starting at £29 when spreading the cost of the device and a TV and Netflix subscription.

Here’s how to claim a discounted Fire TV Stick:

  • Sign up for a free TopCashback account here
  • Search for Amazon and click ‘Get Cashback Now’
  • Shop and checkout as usual
  • Cashback will then track and appear in your TopCashback account within seven working days of purchase. The cashback will become payable and available to withdraw and spend after Amazon has paid TopCashback the commission for your purchase.

The Amazon Fire Stick HD plugs straight into a TVs HDMI port to deliver countless films and TV shows on streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, as well as millions of songs on Amazon Music and Spotify. This can all be done hands free with the included Alexa Voice Remote, which can also perform tasks like checking the weather or controlling compatible smart devices.

This model has racked up a 4.6-star rating after more than 3,500 Amazon reviews, 92% of which are four or five stars. One happy customer said: “Best buy for perfect picture quality at a great price. Fantastic streaming, great price, connectivity perfect, easy to access, easy to install. Would recommend for picture quality, easy to use, comes with Netflix, Prime Video and Amazon Music.”

Another said: “This is great. My Sony smart TV stopped supporting Netflix and the Fire Stick was the solution. Plugged into TV, turned on then setting stick up was so easy to do with my Amazon account. Remote is small and controls the TV quickly with great connection. Apps work so much quicker using the Fire Stick. There are so many apps to choose from. Great value, great connectivity.”

A third satisfied shopper said: “Superb piece of kit turning a 15-year-old Sony into a smart TV. Easy to set up with links to the Amazon website and iPhone Fire TV Stick App. Good Wi-Fi pick-up and streaming without buffering. Quick to load and responsive to commands. Excellent remote control, intuitive and easy to use. All the major streaming apps available, most pre-installed. Good picture quality on a par with the HD broadcast picture.”

However, the same buyer noted a potential downside, adding: “[The] USB cable to mains adaptor is a bit short – could be twice the length.”
