NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 42.71 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.24 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.64 crore), Manappuram Finance(numbers of share traded: 5.20 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.67 crore), Motherson Sumi(numbers of share traded: 4.60 crore), Easy Trip Planners(numbers of share traded: 4.18 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.08 crore) and Piramal Pharma(numbers of share traded: 2.64 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 30.25 points up at 22959.5, while BSE Sensex ended up 57.65 points at 75996.86.

On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.77 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 2.42 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 0.90 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.78 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
