Lucas Vazquez’s injury not as bad as initially expected — report

Real Madrid right-back Lucas Vazquez’s injury is not as bad as people expected it to be, and he will try to make his return in time for the crucial Champions League match against Liverpool on Wednesday, November 27.

The international break could not have come at a better time for Real Madrid as they lost three players to injury just before the break during a game against Osasuna.

Vazquez was one of the three players who got injured, and was expected to be out for a month.

A recent report from Guillermo Rai says that Real Madrid have realised it is not as bad as they thought. However, Federico Valverde is still expected to start on the weekend against Leganes.

It is obviously not confirmed whether Vazquez will win the race against time to be fit for the Liverpool game, but if he does, that would mean Valverde returns to his natural position, and Real Madrid actually have a right-back they could work with.
